Brian Jeremiejczyk’s TechOne Consultancy Journey
“I enjoy the interaction and knowing that I’m helping clients find solutions they may not have thought of before.”
Brian Jeremiejczyk’s career in technology began with his studies in mathematics and computer science at Swinburne University. His first professional role was with a small software company called Aussoft Solutions, where he worked for five years. Seeking new challenges, Brian joined TechnologyOne, staying with the company for 9.5 years. He has been with Lánluas – a TechOne consultancy – as a TechnologyOne Property & Rating consultant for seven years.
“Working from home has been a game-changer for me,” Brian shares. “It enables me to balance my professional responsibilities with personal commitments – the flexibility is invaluable.”
The most satisfying part of his job is engaging with clients,
“I enjoy the interaction and knowing that I’m helping clients find solutions they may not have thought of before.”
A recent project that Brian thoroughly enjoyed working on was a 12-month CRM initiative, which involved transitioning departments onto TechnologyOne’s request management system. This project not only assisted with helping the client achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) but also standardised communication with customers, moving them away from spreadsheets to automated processes for sending correspondence, emails, documents, and reporting, etc.
Brian values the camaraderie of his team at Lánluas, where everyone works well together and supports one another and feels that it’s a great environment to work in.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys playing golf, supporting Carlton Football Club, and spending quality time with family and friends.
If hosting a dinner party for anyone, real or fictional, dead or alive, Brian would choose to invite Aussie cricketer Dean Jones, Billy the Kid, and a younger version of his grandmother, Stacey.
“Dean Jones was a cricket hero of mine growing up, and I’ve always been fascinated by Westerns, so Billy the Kid would be an interesting guest. I would love to meet a teenage version of my grandmother to hear her firsthand accounts of living through World War II,” he says.
